Computer Resource Department

The computer resource lab classrooms are managed by Mrs. Caroline Altman (lab 305) and Mrs. Connie Pritchard (lab 401), our Computer Resource Specialists. Together, their goal is to teach students and staff how to use the technology proficiently and provide them with the basic skills necessary for meeting the challenges of the Twenty First Century.

Core teams integrate technology into their curriculum by scheduling the computer resource labs, laptop carts, or our new research center located in the library media center. In addition, exploratory classes can sign up to use the labs or carts when they are not being used for core SOL instruction. Using the computers, students interact with content material, create products, conduct research, practice skills and much more. Instead of being taught in isolation, the middle school technology skills are interwoven with content Standards of Learning.
