First Annual Giving Tree Project
December 2008

The National Junior Honor Society

 

With the help of some local Partners in Education, Chick-Fil-A and Subway Restaurants, teachers, staff, clubs and parents, we were able to provide new clothing items for over 40 students in need. With Food Assistance from the Bayside Lion’s Clubfood, we were able to provide food for their families during the holiday break.

A special thank you goes to the owners of the Haygood Chick-Fil-A, Beau and Kate Noblitt for joining in with our school project by adopting thirteen of our giving tree tags. These owners encouraged their Chick-Fill-A staff to donate a clothing item and matched every item donated with a clothing item until all items were purchased! Way to Go Chick-Fil-A!!  

 

On behalf of the IMS Guidance department and the National Junior Honor Society, we sincerely thank all administrators, teachers, staff, clubs, Partners in Education and parents who donated to the cause! We look forward to hosting this project again next year!
