IMS Foreign Languages

Exploratory Spanish and French Nine Week Cource, Grade 6 or 7 Each 9 week course will give students the opportunity to explore languages other than English. In addition, by understanding and appreciating other cultures, they will understand their own culture better.
	French I , Spanish I, German I One Credit, One year, Grade 7 or 8 Students begin the sequential development of all communicative skills. They use the language for oral and written communication, interpretation of spoken and written information, and presentations to audiences  of listeners and readers. Culture is an integral part of meaningful language.
French II, Spanish II One Credit, One year, Grade 8 Prerequisite: French I, Spanish I Students continue the sequential development of all communicative skills. They use the language for oral and written communication, interpretation of spoken and written information and presentations to audiences of listeners and readers. Culture is an integral part of meaningful language.
